With over eight years of experience in employment law, Rebekah Venning brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Special Counsel at Farren McRae Workplace Lawyers and Consultants. Rebekah has a diverse background, having worked in various legal capacities, including running her own successful practice. Her experience includes advisor and in-house legal counsel to some of Australia’s leading not-for-profits and for-profit companies.
Throughout her career, Rebekah has represented both employees and employers, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of the perspectives from both sides of the spectrum and the strategic insight to navigate advice and craft effect resolutions for her clients.
She prioritises avoiding and managing disputes but if a dispute arises, she is experienced in early resolution and delivering client outcomes.
Rebekah’s dedication to understanding and implementing workplace rights and obligations, coupled with her ability to foster harmonious workplace relations, makes her a valuable asset to our team.
Rebekah’s experience includes appearances in various judicial settings, including the Federal Circuit Court, the Fair Work Commission and various Courts and tribunals across Australia. She has successfully navigated complex legal matters for clients across various industries, providing strategic advice and representation tailored to their unique needs. Rebekah’s meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients make her a trusted advisor in the legal community.
In addition to her legal career, Rebekah is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She serves as a Director on the Board of KickStart for Kids, a prominent South Australian charity dedicated to providing meals and support to underprivileged school children.
