Shauni is an experienced and skilled investigator who has conducted complex administrative investigations across both the public and private sectors. She has successfully managed a wide range of matters involving Conduct and Performance Excellence (CaPE) and Corrupt Conduct during her tenure within professional standards units for Queensland Corrective Services and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services.

In addition to her investigative skills, Shauni has a deep understanding of the workplace complaints and investigation process and the relevant legislation, including the Crime and Corruption Act, Public Interest Disclosure Act, Human Rights Act, and CaPE criteria. She applies this knowledge to assess complaints professionally and efficiently and to navigate the complexities of workplace issues with sensitivity and integrity. 

She also has excellent interviewing skills and can adapt her approach to different situations and individuals, building rapport and obtaining crucial information from interviewees. Shauni is proficient in handling complex cases involving various types of evidence, such as verbal testimonies, documents, digital data, IT audits, data logs, video footage, and written statements. She analyses the evidence rigorously and presents it clearly and cogently in comprehensive investigation reports, enabling informed decision-making. 

Shauni is known for her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to thoroughly exploring and investigating all allegations. She ensures that her findings are robust and withstand scrutiny from both internal and external stakeholders.
