Terry brings extensive experience in employment and workplace relations law gained across government, private practice, in-house legal roles and legal leadership positions. This breadth of experience enables him to provide commercially focused advice that is grounded in the law and practical business realities.

Terry’s career in workplace relations began while studying law, working with the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations. Following graduation, and prior to admission as a solicitor, he worked with the Australian Industrial Registry where he provided advice to members of the public and conducted research for Commissioners on a range of industrial and employment matters.

Following his admission to practice, Terry worked in private practice advising employers and employees on a broad range of workplace relations and employment law issues. He later moved in-house, where he was responsible for overseeing legal, employment and workplace relations matters within a corporate environment, providing him with firsthand insight into the challenges faced by business leaders and decision-makers.

Terry subsequently established his own legal practice, which was later acquired by a leading accounting firm. Following the acquisition, he was appointed Legal Director and Principal, where he led the delivery of legal services while continuing to advise clients on complex employment and workplace relations issues.

Drawing on experience gained across multiple sectors and legal environments, Terry is known for providing practical, strategic advice and helping clients navigate complex workplace issues with confidence.

• Solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria
• Holder of unrestricted Practising Certificate in Victoria
• Bachelor of Arts and Laws, Monash University
• Master of Commercial Law, University of Melbourne
• Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Swinburne University of Technology
• Certificate in Auditing, Swinburne University of Technology
